The Leichhardt Council Area offers a wide range of recreational facilities featuring the Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre as the Municipality's premier recreational venue, as well as the Dawn Fraser Heritage Baths - which is the oldest pool in Australia. Leichhardt Council also liaises and supports various local sporting and recreation clubs and associations.
