Our Footprints Ecofestival will go ahead in the event of rain!
The much loved Footprints Ecofestival returns for 2015 at Whites Creek Valley Park, Annandale on Sunday, 23 August from 11am-3pm. Whether you’re an avid environmental crusader, eco-novice, young or old - everyone will find something fun in this community day packed full of entertainment, workshops, hands-on experiences and more.
Kids will be kept busy with recycled art workshops, face painting, native wildlife shows and main stage entertainment including ‘Play Along with Sam’ featuring former yellow Wiggle Sam Moran. Other main stage entertainment includes the Yaama Boys, Ecopella, Ciao Magazine's Recycled Fashion Parade and Julia Jacklin. The complete timetable is under Mainstage Program.
There are plenty of workshops and demonstrations, including pickling, fermenting, homemade beauty products and bee-keeping! Check out the full list and timetable under Workshops Timetable.
Last but not least, the ever popular bicycle-powered Footprints Film Festival will be screening a series of eco-themed short films. See the Film Festival page for films and showtimes.
Make sure to do your bit for the planet (and your wallet!) and bring a reusable water bottle. Sydney Water will have portable water refill units at hand, to keep you happy and hydrated with drinking water.
Footprints is a Waste Wise event. Our stallholders provide biodegradable or recyclable products that you can place in the organics, recycling or waste bins provided on the day. Find out what can be recycled and what can go in the worm farm trailer.
