Grants Program

In 2011-12, Leichhardt Council is offering community grant funding through seven grants programs, including four new programs. Applications for grant funding for Rounds 1 & 2 are currently closed. For more information on any of the grants, please call (02) 9367 9220 or email grants@lmc.nsw.gov.au.

	Community grants The Community Grants program provides grants of up to $2,000 for community initiatives aligned with key objectives in the Community and Cultural Plan. Download application form and guidelines (71.70kB)
	Environmental grants The Environmental Grants program provides grants of up to $5,000 for projects which benefit the community through environmental improvement, education and awareness raising. Download application form and guidelines
	Community events funding program The Community Events Funding Program provides grants of up to $5,000 per applicant to assist groups and organisations to deliver innovative community events. Download application form and guidelines (64.42kB)
	Community garden grants The Community Gardens Grant program is a new initiative to enable and support community gardens. Grants of up to $10,000 are available to assist gardening groups with the establishment of new community gardens. Download application form and guidelines
	Site and Sound This pilot program provides artists, performers, & musicians with free venue hire and promotion for events based in the Leichhardt Town Hall in Autumn 2012 Download application form and guidelines
