Common Myna

The introduced Common Myna, also previously called an Indian Myna, is brown with a black head. It has a yellow bill, legs and bare eye skin. In flight it shows large white wing patches. It is a member of the starling family and is also known as the Common Myna.

The Common Myna is a common pest throughout the Leichhardt area. Similar local species include the Noisy Miner.
