Dogs in Parks

Council has adopted an Open Space Access Strategy for Dogs on 25 May 2004 which was amended on 22 November 2005.

The aims of the strategy are;

• to develop a process to determine appropriate levels of access to open space areas for dogs
• to provide recommendations concerning access to open space for dogs to major open space areas within the local government area to be implemented through this plan and Council's open space planning process.
