SATURDAY 9 APRIL - RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL (RSA) TRAINING COURSE

Ages: 16 - 24 years
Cost: $50
Time: 10:00am - 4:30pm
Venue: Leichhardt Town Hall - 107 Norton St (corner Marion St), Leichhardt

  • Nationally Recognised Training delivered by CHP School of Hospitality, a Registered Training Organisation.
  • Participants that successfully complete this training course receive a NSW RSA Photo Competency Card approved by the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and a Statement of Attainment in Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (National Unit of Competency Code - SITHFAB201).
  • The RSA training course is a mandatory requirement under the Liquor Act and Registered Clubs Act for those seeking employment in a licensed premise or Registered Club.
  • Bring photo ID, a pen, notepad.
  • Provide your own lunch.

SUNDAY 10 APRIL - RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF GAMBLING (RCG) TRAINING COURSE

Ages: 16 - 24 years

Time: 10:00am - 4:30pm

  • Nationally Recognised Training delivered by CHP School of Hospitality, a Registered Training Organisation.
  • Participants that successfully complete this training course receive a NSW RCG Photo Competency Card approved by the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and a Statement of Attainment in Provide Responsible Gambling Services (National Unit of Competency Code - SITHGAM201).

MONDAY 11 APRIL - FIRST AID TRAINING COURSE (FAST-TRACK 1 DAY COURSE)

Ages: 14 - 24 years
Cost: $50
Time: 9:30am - 5:00pm
Venue: Leichhardt Council Administration Centre (Level 2) - 7-15 Wetherill St, Leichhardt

  • Please note - this course is fully booked.
  • Nationally Recognised Training delivered by Medilife, a Registered Training Organisation.
  • Participants that successfully complete this training course receive a Statement of Attainment in Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (National Unit of Competency Code - HLTAID001), Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (National Unit of Competency Code - HLTAID002) and Provide First Aid (National Unit of Competency Code - HLTAID003).
  • Pre-course homework is required. Participants will be provided with a First Aid workbook prior to attending. Participants must read the workbook, complete all exercises and bring the completed workbook to the training course.
  • Provide your own lunch.

TUESDAY 12 APRIL - BARISTA AND FOOD HYGIENE TRAINING COURSE

  • Nationally Recognised Training delivered by CHP School of Hospitality, a Registered Training Organisation.
  • Participants that successfully complete this training course receive a Statement of Attainment in Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee (National Unit of Competency Code - SITHFAB204) and Use Hygiene Practices for Food Safety (National Unit of Competency Code - SITXFSA101).
  • Participants will gain skills to work as a barista and prepare and serve espresso using commercial espresso machines.
  • This training course meets the current requirements under the NSW Food Act 2003 in relation to the preparation, packaging or service of food in NSW and meets the requirements of Food Standards Australia New Zealand (Standard 3.2.2. - Food Safety Practices and General Requirements).
  • Bring photo ID, a pen and notepad.
  • Provide your own lunch.

FRIDAY 15 APRIL - WORK READINESS WORKSHOP
