Stress Less Sessions at Annandale Community Centre

The intention behind this initiative is to offer the community a space to relax.

Wednesday - Everyday wellbeing workshops

10-11am $5 per class. No experience necessary

Increase vitality, improve your moods and create mental clarity. 
A fun way to revitalise body, mind and soul.
28 Sept - Sleep Meditation Techniques
Allow the body to restore itself at a deep level. 
Reduce anxiety, alleviate stress, improve sleep and achieve calmness (please bring a blanket).

Shower singers and non-singers welcome.  Good feelings guaranteed.
13 October - The Art of Being
Combine mindfulness and art exercises to receive the presents of presence.

Not So Young Club

The Not So Young Club meets at the Hannaford Centre on the fourth Wednesday of each month. At 11.30am a presentation is given on a topic of interest to seniors, followed at 12.30pm by a light lunch together. The event is free of charge. For more information contact the Community Development Officer- Ageing, Disability and Social Inclusion on 9367 9043 or gabrielleh@lmc.nsw.gov.au  Please note the September 2016 Not So Young Club will be held at the Balmain Town Hall while work is completed at the Hannaford Centre.

The Hannaford Centre in Leichhardt offers a range of activities for seniors and the general community. Activities include social bus outings, community lunches, social activities, craft activities, as wellas a variety of exercise classes for different levels of fitness,ability and interest. Seniors Hope LunchHOPE Luncheons

Healthy Older People Eating, (HOPE) is about active seniors getting together once a month to enjoy each others company at one of the many great restaurants that the local area has to offer.
