Education Grants for Schools

Eco Schools and Food Garden Grants

The NSW Environmental Trust offers Eco School Grants and Food Gardens in Schools Grants each year. These grants provide funds for schools to improve their environment, engage with their communities, and offer hands-on environmental learning opportunities for students. Funding is available for a variety of environmental projects, such as water and energy conservation; recycling and composting; bush regeneration and habitat improvement; and bush tucker and food gardens.

Our Neighbourhood Grants

Australia Post has launched its new community program – Our Neighbourhood, a national grants program. Our Neighbourhood Community Grants are open to eligible registered charities and community organisations for amounts between $1,000 and $25,000 to support local projects.

Our Neighbourhood Community Grants will be awarded to organisations with projects that help connect local communities and foster inclusion across Australian neighbourhoods. The Our Neighbourhood program has been designed to provide opportunities for people from varying backgrounds and communities. With a focus on local, it will also extend to regional and remote, the disadvantaged, the culturally diverse and small business.

2016/2017 NSW Heritage Grants

The 2016/17 NSW Heritage Grants will call for applications in October 2016. You will find grant details and application forms at the NSW Heritage Grants website. Please ensure that you read through the grant eligibility information and that you discuss your project with a NSW Heritage Division member before submitting an application.

NSW Community Energy Grants

The NSW Government’s Growing Community Energy (GCE) grants program will build the community energy sector in NSW by empowering communities to develop and own renewable energy projects.
