Public Art Map

The Public Art Map features six outdoor trails which allows you to visit six different outdoor “art galleries” – all proudly named after high achieving, hard working women from the area. Print yourself out one or all of them, and get to know your local area on foot.

The six galleries are named after Beatrice Bush, Bronwyn Bancroft, Christina Stead, Dawn Fraser, Esther Abrahams, and Marietta Ballini. You can find out more about each of these women via the links below.

Public art makes a valuable contribution to an enlivened and vibrant locality, by complementing and
building on the unique qualities of our streetscapes and town centres.
