Banner Bookings
Leichhardt Council acknowledges that displaying banners across the mainstreets of Leichhardt Local Government Area (LGA) is an effective way of providing information to the community. As such, Council has designated 4 sites in high profile and visible locations across the LGA for community groups to access this service, free of charge.
Eligible community organisations include schools within the Leichhardt Municipality, community groups, not for profit organisations or charities. This service may be used to inform the community of important events, information and campaigns that are relevant to the Leichhardt LGA.
Available banner sites are as follows:
- Norton Plaza, Norton St, Leichhardt;
- Balmain Town Hall, Darling St, Balmain;
- Sackville Hotel, Darling St, Rozelle; and
- Victoria St, Rozelle (amenities block).
NOTE: The first 3 banner sites listed above are double sided/two way visual sites with the Victoria St site being a single sided/one way visual site.
To ensure all groups have equal access to banner space sites, bookings can only be made at up to 2 separate sites at any one time, with a maximum of 3 weeks display time at each site. Further, bookings can be made up to a maximum of 6 months in advance of the desired booking dates.
