Our Artist of the Month program is an initiative whereby we commend and
celebrate the work of our local artists

Our featured artist
for the month of May is Eva Rinaldi
Eva Rinaldi is an artist, educator and celebrity photographer.
Bodypainting / bodyart, including face painting were her first creative art outlets, and this was expanded on in later years to include abstracts and sculptures. The birth of her son led Eva to childrens’s face painting, and this later expanded to corporate bodypainting. Just a few of her community based projects have included 'Chalk The Walk',Sydney Bodyart Bike Ride, World Vision and 'Children Help Poverty'. Eva has won a number of awards and commendations over the years including media social and community entrepreneur of the month, Chalk The Walk (People's Choice), Sydney's Hidden Treasures, and was shortlisted for the Parliament House Art Prize.

Artist's Statement:
Eva's work is largely influenced by her upbringing, which included experiences such as overcoming bullying and racism, youth being able to change the world for better, as well as her adapting to the Australian entertainment industry landscape. The majority of her works exhibit themes over overcoming obstacles, freedom and positive change to the world.
Current work:
Eva is currently preparing a exhibition in Sydney 2012 “The Human Body is a breathing living canvas.”
